Oct. 29, 2013—TopTech Finder announced Tuesday that it has expanded its online job board to include mechanical repair jobs, becoming the only job board specifically designed for both the mechanical and collision repair industries.
"After expanding in August to support all body shop jobs, we heard from our customers that they wanted to add mechanical jobs to the site. In response, we quickly expanded the job board to handle skills and certifications specific to mechanical repair jobs,” said Jeff Herman, CEO of TopTech Finder.
The expanded website will officially launch during the SEMA Show, Nov. 5–8.
“It’s hard to find qualified technicians on general job boards. They aren’t designed for the mechanical repair industry and don’t draw many technicians. In contrast, TopTech Finder allows candidates to show off industry-specific qualifications like I-CAR Platinum Certificates and ASE Certifications, making the job board a natural place for techs to find jobs.” said Herman.
Since launching in early 2012, TopTech Finder has connected with over 1,350 candidates and 350 repairers. The website is free for job seekers and will remain free for employers for a limited time.
