AACF Appoints Two to Board of Trustees, Revises Committee Structure
The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation has made two new appointments to its Board of Trustees, along with changes to its committee structure, according to a press release.
Kathryn Reinhart, Senior Vice President Marketing & Events at Hemmings, has been appointed to serve as vice president alongside Luanne Brown, CEO and founder of eTool Developers. Reinhart will simultaneously continue in her role as a committee chair as well.
Marc Blackman, CEO of Gold Eagle Company, has been made secretary of the board. Blackman is deeply involved with the aftermarket, serving on several advisory boards and founded a global leadership organization for chief executives.
Additionally, AACF has announced a revised committee structure that includes a combination of standing committees and subcommittees to serve both long- and short-term needs. Standing committees are fully rostered and work towards core functions of AACF’s mission.
“This refreshed committee structure will enable AACF to be more agile and responsive while allowing board members to contribute in meaningful ways,” said John Kairys, AACF executive director. “It’s an important step toward advancing our mission and scaling our impact.”
