Who's Raising Whom? Effective Parenting Lessons Build A Great Team at Work

Saturday, September 14, 2024 | 10:15 am - 11:15 am

Using effective parenting techniques inside our work homes. Effective parents don't reprimand/shame their kids in front of their peers. Effective parents teach their kids to honor their namesake. Effective parents use encouragement over praise. Effective parents promote shared control. Effective parents don't get involved unless it's a health or safety issue. Effective parents learn how to say "no" without using the word "no." Effective parents allow the consequence to be the teacher rather than the parent. Effective parents walk their talk. Effective parents are 100% united over the above.

Friday, September 13, 2024 | 8:30 am - 9:30 am

Some shops just don't fit the normal molds of the auto repair industry. Often coaching and classes are geared towards more "textbook" business models for auto repair shops. But what if your shop doesn't fit the traditional model? You have two options: Conform your business to a standard model or become the trailblazer to do what is right for you, your business, your community and keep your sanity. This class will offer some tips on how to move forward and thrive as the odd duck shop in your community. Tips are from another shop owner who has had to learn, often the hard way, of how to do things differently.
