The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) saw great success with its recent Annual Bob Schoeberl Memorial Golf Tournament, according to a press release.
For its 31st year running, the gold tournament was held at the Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada as part of the SEMA show and AAPEX.
Nearly $600,000 was raised, which will go toward AACF’s mission of helping those in the industry struggling with unexpected hardships.
Over 190 golfers and more than 100 industry companies gathered to participate in the tournament. It kicked off with a cocktail reception before a team scramble game took place.
In the Sunrise/Canyon Course, the winner was SOLID START, comprised of golfers Fred Pascarella, Chris Baker, Rick Juarez, and Ron Morrow. In the Lakes/Sunrise Course, API won with its team of Tony Maddox, Jeff Kreitzman, Ben Shur, and Mathew Harris. In the Canyon/Lakes Course, the winner was ITW Professional Automotive Products with its team that included Kent Sheperd, Rick Moser, and Brandon Gaugh Jr.
"The generosity and unity displayed at the Annual Bob Schoeberl Memorial Golf Tournament are a testament to the industry's unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need," said AACF Executive Director Joel Ayres. “The momentum from our recent golf tournament and our very successful board meeting coupled with our ongoing commitment will continue to propel us forward and drive us to have an even larger impact.”
