The Young Auto Care Network Group, an Auto Care Association community for emerging young industry professionals under 40, donated $6,500 in support of the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation's commemorative fundraiser honoring 65 years of service to the automotive aftermarket community.
AACF's goal is to raise $65,000 through 1,000 donations of $65 each. The YANG community will continue fundraising throughout the year to support AACF's goals.
“We are thankful for the generous support of the YANG community and all it has done to support our mission over the years,” said Jon Owens, board chair, AACF. “YANG’s donation in honor of the AACF’s 65 years of service to the automotive aftermarket community ensures that we not only will be able to achieve our fundraiser goal but will also be able to provide assistance for more families in need in the future. We look forward to our continued partnership with YANG and being able to do great things for the automotive aftermarket together.”
Founded in 1959, the AACF helps automotive aftermarket members and their families who have exhausted all other resources to maintain a reasonable existence. This year-round campaign encourages donors to support those in need with proceeds going to AACF.
