Feb. 11, 2021—Endurance Vehicle Protection, a provider of vehicle service contracts, has established a national network of certified repair shops and mechanics to educate and empower confidence in drivers across the country, the company announced in a press release.
“When my co-founder and I started Endurance nearly two decades ago, we saw an opportunity to differentiate our company from bad actors and to build a brand centered on service that drivers could really trust,” Paul Chernawsky, co-founder and CEO of Endurance, said in a statement. “We administer most of our plans, so unlike other sellers who hand off the contract once it’s signed, that’s really the point when our job begins. We’re with the customer from quote to claim, and I’m proud that we’ve paid out millions in claims over the past decade.”
A recent AAA survey found that two out of three U.S. drivers were generally skeptical about repair shops, which was often the result of one poor past experience. Some drivers are fearful that repair shops will recommend unnecessary repairs or overcharge for services.
Endurance, through its strategic partner RepairPal, hopes this campaign will elevate the reputations of automotive technicians in the U.S.
