April 8, 2021—BRAKEmax Car Care Centers, an Arizona-based repair company, has established a $24,000 program to benefit Tucson educators and employees while generating revenue for local restaurants, the company announced in a press release.

The program will provide gift cards to local restaurants for teachers, employees and administrators.

“Given the unprecedented impact that the pandemic has had on our community, we felt it was essential to show support for our school system as well as local Tucson businesses,” Jeffry Gardner, vice president of marketing for BRAKEmax parent GB Auto Service, Inc., said in a statement. “At this crucial time, it is imperative that we let our community know how invested we are in their ability to succeed despite the challenges they have encountered over the past 12 months.”
