Pep Boys Opens Location on Military Base

Pep Boys will offer exclusive services to the military base personnel.  

Aug. 6, 2021—Pep Boys has opened a service and tire center on a military base, a first for the company. 

Announced in a press release Thursday, Pep Boys opened a location at Fort Buchanan, a U.S. military base in Puerto Rico, and will provide services exclusively to those stationed at the base. 

“We are proud to help keep drivers moving across the island of Puerto Rico, including the military community at Fort Buchanan,” CEO Brian Kaner said in a statement. “Puerto Rico is an important market for Pep Boys and, as we identify new opportunities for growth, we plan to continue expanding our capabilities to deliver world-class automotive service to meet the growing needs of our customers.”
