Jan. 10, 2022—Holman Transmission, a staple of Columbus, Ohio, for the last 51 years, has closed, WCBI reported.

The shop officially closed December 31, according to the report. The shop was family-owned throughout its entire existence, dating back to 1970.

“Before mom and dad passed away, Mama ran the office; Daddy ran the counter. Then us three boys worked out here in the shop, and we had our own little departments we ran. And when they passed on, we took over,” Joe Holeman told the outlet.
