Nov. 30, 2022—In a press release, Stellantis says its network of 2,600 is "focused on the dealership transition to electric-vehicle sales and service."
The OEM says that it is offering consulting and on-site evaluation services for dealers, but it's unclear what actual progress is made. The press release says that 70 percent of dealers are "in the process of assessing their individual readiness."
Stellantis hopes to convert 50 percent of sales in the U.S. to battery-electric vehicles. It has the goal of 100 percent for the European market by 2030.
