The donation from the financial services company will go toward scholarships, tools, and training.

Consumer financial services company Synchrony has made a $25,000 donation to Women in Auto Care, according to a press release.

The donation, motivated by Synchrony's Education as an Equalizer program, will go toward professional development scholarships, funding for essential industry tools, and educational programs and training.

"Synchrony's donation is a crucial step in helping us break down barriers for women seeking to enter and thrive in the auto care sector," said Missy Stephens, manager of community engagement for the Auto Care Association. “These funds will directly address the challenges many women in the industry face by providing access to the resources and education needed to succeed.”
