Ford Recalls Over 105K SUVs for Faulty Seatbelt Pretensioners

April 11, 2025
The recall covers Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles from model years 2018 through 2020.

Over 105,000 Ford SUVs have been recalled for faulty seatbelts, according to Reuters.

Included in the recall are a total of 105,322 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles from model years 2018 through 2020.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the seat belt pretensioners for drivers and/or front passengers may randomly lock, preventing it from retracting or extending.

To remedy the issue, Ford will have dealers inspect seat belt retractor date codes and replace any impacted parts.
