AAA and NAPA Autotech have teamed up to launch an apprenticeship program for AAA Approved Auto Repair facilities, according to a press release.

The program was prompted by recent data from the Department of Labor showing a 2% increase in active apprentices from the last decade, as well as a 9% increase in new apprentices in 2021.

Running between 18 and 24 months, the program provides apprentices with both online and classroom training. Apprentices will have access to over 400 NAPA Autotech eLearning resources, and the opportunity to earn ASE certifications such as G1, A4, A5, and A/C.

Approved auto repair shops looking to enroll in the apprenticeship program can visit AAA’s website for more information.
