Magna's facilities will produce automotive components for cars, light trucks, and commercial vehicles.

One of the largest automotive suppliers in the world, Magna International, is expanding its operations in South Carolina, reports WSPA.

A combined investment of approximately $200 million will be used to construct a new satellite operation, as well as to expand its existing facility, which will both be in Piedmont, South Carolina.

The new 625,000-square-foot facility will be located at 923 Matrix Parkway, with operations there expected to begin in the first quarter of next year.

Both the new and existing facility will produce automotive components for cars, light trucks, and commercial vehicles, and are expected to provide around 200 new jobs beginning in 2025.
