ATI’s annual SuperConference for this year has concluded after hosting hundreds of automotive repair professionals in Grapevine, Texas, according to a press release.
Taking place at the Gaylord Texan Resort, the event saw nearly 830 attendees, comprised of auto repair and collision shop owners, industry partners, and associates.
Opening statements from ATI President Craig Montgomery paid respects to former President Richard Menneg and appreciated the action conference participants were taking to further improve their businesses.
“You can have results, or you can have excuses, but you can't have both simultaneously, and that's why you're all here,” said Montgomery. “You've chosen to take a different path. It takes courage to scrutinize your business, and I commend each of you for seizing this opportunity.”
Other speakers at the event include Menneg himself; David Avrin, founder of the Sounding Board; Michael Dominquez, CEO of Associated Luxury Hotels International; Stephen Shapiro, owner of Stephen Shapiro Enterprises; David Horsager of Trust Edge Leadership Institute; Ryan Stramrood, owner of Stramrood & Associates; and Bryan Dodge of Dodge Development, Inc.
Conference attendees also participated in workshops, networking events, team-building activities, and an awards and recognition banquet, with the Top Shop Awards Winners being named. Additionally, attendees contributed to a growing total of $66,880 to be donated to this year’s chosen charity, Unbridled Horse Therapy: an organization providing therapeutic horseback riding to those with special needs.
Plans for next year’s conference have already been outlined, with it slated to take place at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Waikoloa Village, Hawaii, on March 19-22, 2025.
