Fisher Auto Parts has acquired longtime Federated Auto Parts member Berrodin Parts Warehouse, according to a press release.
Berrodin Parts Warehouse is headquartered in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, and was first founded in 1901. The company acts as a distributor for aftermarket auto parts.
More than 400 people are employed at Berrodin Parts Warehouse, which has nine warehouse locations throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and Northern Delaware.
Following the decision, John Berrodin will stay with the company as a regional manager for Fisher Auto Parts. Jim Berrodin will be a store support manager and Lou Berrodin will serve as an operations manager. Frank Berrodin Jr. will be returning to retirement upon completion of the acquisiton.
“The Berrodin family has done an incredible job growing their business from one small store in the Philadelphia area to nine warehouses covering the mid-Atlantic states,” said Fisher Auto Parts President Herb Godschalk. “We plan to build on their great success and continue the goodwill they have developed with their broad customer base.”
