The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence has partnered with Bogi Lateiner to help promote ASE testing and more people to join the industry, according to a press release.
The partnership will launch at the 2023 ASE Instructor Training Conference, taking place on July 17 through 20 in Concord, North Carolina. Conference attendees, which will include high school and college instructors, will have the opportunity to meet Lateiner at the event.
Lateiner has 10 years of experience working as an industry management instructor and has helped create programs such as the “Girl Gang Garage,” which trains women that are looking to enter the automotive field. She also hosts a television show called “All Girls Garage” as well as a podcast called “With her Two Hands.”
“ASE certification has always been extremely important to me,” said Lateiner. “As a technician, I see it as my doctor credentials, and as a shop owner, it helps convey to my customers that we take pride in our craft and our continuing education. However, ASE does so much more that many aren’t aware of and I’m excited and honored to help spread the word about all they do to help shape the future of the industry.”
