Oct. 30, 2018—Tenneco on Monday announced an expanded ride control offering for half-ton pickups, with a new line of Monroe Magnum loaded strut assemblies. The new product offering is expected to be available in early 2019.
The new Monroe Magnum units were designed to allow customers to experience OE-style control and handling with long service life on late-model trucks. Monroe Magnum strut assemblies feature elements such as a premium, gas-charged Monroe Magnum strut featuring 10-stage, acceleration-sensitive damping technology, nitro-carburized piston rod, a variable-rate coil spring, and a jounce bumper, to name a few.
