Oct. 26, 2021—Sun Auto Tire and Service has acquired 16 stores in Washington, according to a statement.
The additions are made up of three separate acquisitions. Sun Auto announced the acquisition of Greg’s Japanese and Auto, an eight-store operation, Jeff’s Auto Repair, a three-store operation, and Gaynors Automotive, a five-shop operation, on Monday.
The additions give Sun Auto a presence in the Pacific Northwest, which it had yet to establish.
“At Sun Auto Tire & Service, one of the many ways we define our success is by creating acquisition opportunities in which we feel we can partner with trusted brands and capitalize on established and successful footprints in multiple markets. Earlier this year, we expanded our portfolio to include the East Coast, and naturally, the next step in our expansion journey is the Pacific Northwest,” Sun Auto CEO Tony Puckett said in a statement. “The strong community relationships Greg’s, Jeff’s and Gaynors have cultivated will further strengthen our growth strategy and help cement Sun Auto Tire & Service as Washington’s leading provider of quality aftermarket automotive repair.”
