Aug. 3, 2022—Standard Motor Products has announced the recipients of its 2022 scholarships.
According to a press release, these scholarships have been awarded to four individuals pursuing automotive technology and repair educational experiences.
The scholarships are applied to education at an automotive technical school or college. The scholarships were open to students in the United States and Puerto Rico, and entrants had to be at least 18 years old to apply.
They also needed to be enrolled full-time in high school or in an accredited two-or four-year College, University, or post-high school educational program while pursuing an education in automotive technology or repair.
Each scholarship is $5,000.
The recipients include:
- Nathan McGuire of Beloit, Kansas, and Chukwuebuka Ani of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. They both received the Blue Streak 'Better Then, Better Now' scholarship.
- Hannah Armstrong of Carrollton, Texas, and Emmalee Howard of Remsen, New York. They both received the SMP 'Women in Auto Care' Scholarship.
