May 9, 2013—The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) recently launched the revamped Emerging Trends and Technology Network (ETTN), formerly the Street Performance Council.
Chair-elect Brian Reese says the network, which is free to all employees of SEMA member companies, will educate members on how to leverage trends in business, customer relations, product or brand technology and vehicle technology for their own businesses.
“The purpose of [ETTN] is to identify emerging trends that affect or improve the automotive aftermarket and deliver them in a concise manner to busy business professionals,” Reese said.
Reese said the network also hopes to reach out to members in other industries to learn about other successful business models and brands.
Members of the network will have opportunities for education and professional development through digital publications, online communities and educational events.
The network’s main discussion area will be the ETTN LinkedIn page.
