Oct. 20, 2016—The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has announced that Kevin Rohlwing, TIA senior vice president of training, will be a featured speaker and the only speaker representing the U.S. at the 12th International Conference on Intelligent Tire Technology.
Rohlwing will give a presentation called “Market Changes in the U.S.” The presentation will give an analysis on the current placement market and changes to distribution; discuss the effect of tariffs on imported tires; provide an overview of tire registration legislation and what it means for retailers; and share a proposed model for a tire recall recovery system using electronic identification.
The conference will be held Oct. 25-27 in Dresden, Germany.
