Oct. 10, 2016—The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has announced that Federated Insurance will provide a free webinar to its members on exemptions from overtime requirements.
The webinar, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) & Federal Exemptions from Overtime Requirements, will take place Tuesday at 1 p.m. EDT.
The webinar will review the impact of the new rule on employers’ ability to classify individuals as exempt from overtime requirements, as well as provide guidance concerning when individuals may be classified as exempt under executive, administrative, professional, computer and outside sales exemptions based upon the requirements of FLSA.
The presentation will be led by Mark Priess, employment counsel at Advisors Law Group LLP in Boston, Mass.
