Snap-on’s latest diagnostic software upgrade introduces coverage for Tesla Model S and Model X, according to a press release.
The update has added information about the 2012-2020 Model S and 2016-2020 Model X to Snap-on diagnostic tools. This includes ABS, ADAS, body, charging, chassis, door and seats, high voltage, HVAC, infotainment, powertrain, restraint, and security.
Additional support has also been made available for 2023 and older Model S and Model X manual procedures related to on-board functions like service mode, service alerts, and gateway unlock.
The update also brings guided component tests for Tesla ABS, covering where to hook up, how to hook up, known good waveforms, and more on how to streamline the diagnostic process.
