Auto Recycling Business Makes First Acquisition

Wayne’s Auto Salvage, owned by Dale Bevell, operates full- and self-service automotive recycling businesses and provides recycled original auto parts to the professional and do-it-yourself repair market.

March 8, 2021—Aesop Auto Parts, a platform to acquire and grow progressive auto recycling businesses, has acquired Wayne Auto Salvage of Goldsboro, N.C., Recycling Today reported. 

Wayne’s Auto Salvage, owned by Dale Bevell, operates full- and self-service automotive recycling businesses and provides recycled original auto parts to the professional and do-it-yourself repair market. It is Aesop’s first acquisition. 

Created from a partnership between American Pacific Group, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, and the Atlanta-based Gray Eagle Capital Partners, Aesop is “committed to advancing the automotive repair industry by focusing on the environmentally friendly disposal of salvage vehicles, retaining and developing industry talent and growing capabilities to recycle the cars of the future.”
