Automotive Management Institute Names Mark Claypool as Executive Director
Mark Claypool has been named executive director of the Automotive Management Institute in a recent press release.
Prior to taking over the role Jan. 2, 2025, Claypool was most recently president of Optima Automotive, an online marketing agency.
Claypool previously served as VP of operations at VeriFacts and executive director of the National Auto Body Council and the Collision Repair Education Foundation. He’s also co-founder of both the Collision Industry Foundation and the Women’s Industry Network.
In his new role with AMi, Claypool will oversee all the organization’s operations, infrastructures, marketing, sales, industry relationships, curriculum framework and delivery, course approvals, and processing.
