June 30, 2022—A recently opened auto repair shop in Colorado is owned by a man with 20 years of experience in the industry.

According to Steamboat Pilot & Today, Bob Wallace opened Wallace Autos back in April 2022 after taking a break from the automotive industry to build houses.

Wallace said in the article that he has enjoyed working with cars since he was 15 years old. He owned a shop in Denver, Colorado, for 10 years and is looking forward to the future with his new shop in Steamboat Springs.

Wallace Auto takes over a space that was previously Bear's Automotive. It has two lifts and offers a variety of services including oil changes, engine and transmission work, clutches, brakes, exhaust, tires, and more.

Wallace is certified to work on Subarus and is also an ASE certified mechanic.

"It’s just a nice transition,” Wallace said in the article. “I took a break and this opportunity came around and I took advantage of it.”
