APA has announced Brown and Sons Auto Parts as a new shareholder.

Aug. 4, 2022—Brown and Sons Auto Parts has joined Automotive Parts Associates as a new shareholder.

According to a press release, Brown and Sons was founded in 1949 by Jack Brown in Flint, Michigan.

By the early 1950s, Jack's sons George, Jim, and Pete had all joined the family business. More generational growth can be seen with George's sons, Nick and Pete and Nick's son, Alexander.

Brown and Sons has grown from what was originally a household garage to state-of-the-art facility that has a warehouse, retail area, and office space.

“With an eye on strong steady growth, Brown and Sons has always taken the right steps to achieve these goals and that’s why we’re thrilled to have them join APA,” Steve Tucker, President of APA, said in the press release.
