Nov. 25, 2013—The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) announced that registration is now open for its fifth and final complimentary, 30-minute webinar on the possible effects of the Affordable Care Act. The webinar is scheduled for Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. EST, and will focus on group health plan regulatory requirements and audits.
Anita Baker, managing principal of employee benefit plans at CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, will lead the presentation.
The webinar will discuss the requirements and regulations of group health plans. Plan administrators of group health plans are required to furnish plan information and notices to participants and beneficiaries, and to submit reports to government agencies. Extra paperwork is required for group health plans of more than 100 participants.
