Nov. 8, 2013—Mitchell 1 announced Thursday that it has added a new search technology, 1Search, to its ProDemand repair information software.
Mitchell 1 said the new search features streamlines the search process by integrating data from the SureTrack diagnostic resource to provide comprehensive, categorized repair information.
The company said 1Search allows technicians to use a single search field for multiple search purposes, including diagnostic trouble codes, components or symptoms, OEM content, detailed parts replacement records, tips and real fixes from SureTrack’s experience-based information database.
The vehicle-specific data in SureTrack is generated and consolidated from successful fixes from professional technicians, which Mitchell 1 said eliminates the need for technicians to log in multiple times to access different sources to gather and analyze information.
