Uni-Select Acquires Wilter Auto & Industrial Supply

March 6, 2015—Uni-Select Inc. announced Friday that Uni-Select Canada has purchased the remaining 50 percent equity interest of Wilter Auto & Industrial Supply.
Wilter, a long-term customer of Uni-Select, has been a wholesaler of automotive parts in Northeastern Alberta for over 25 years, and generates sales of approximately $25 million (Canada). Uni-Select now owns 100 percent of Wilter’s equity interest.
“Today’s announcement perfectly fits in our strategy to expand our network and accelerate our growth. It also underlines our commitment to strengthen our leadership in the Canadian automotive aftermarket,” Henry Buckley, COO of Uni-Select, said in a release.
