Jan. 18, 2013—AutoInc., an Automotive Service Association (ASA) publication, recently selected the "Top 10 Automotive Repair Websites of 2013," according to an ASA press release.
The list, which appeared in the January issue of the magazine, was compiled by a group of judges who evaluated the sites based on multiple criteria, including first impression, visual design, innovation, interactivity and consumer friendliness.
Officials said the goal of the list is to help shop owners understand the capabilities of the Internet, by showing them how their peers have used the web to increase their bottom lines.
“Even in an age where social media is reigning more and more, a shop’s ‘calling card’ remains its website. These shops have done their research and put some careful thought in producing sites that are dynamic, educational and engaging. We applaud them for their efforts,” Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive, said in a statement.
