May 13, 2015—Automotive parts distributor Allied Auto Stores announced on Wednesday its partnership with SHIFT Mobility’s ShopLite mobile application, which will allow repair shops to purchase Allied parts through ShopLite’s platform.
Allied said that after conducting industry research, it discovered that shops were repeatedly bogged down with inaccurate estimates, erroneous part orders, limited access to illustrations and diagnostic tools and lack of logistic efficiency. These factor were impacting the bottom line and customer satisfaction.
Pavana Jain, CEO of ShiftMobility, sought to resolve these issues by creating an app that will work on both mobile devices and browsers with little maintenance.
With ShopLite’s marketing and analytics feature, Allied can act on transaction patterns with customized target email or SMS campaigns as they increase social marketplace outreach.
"We are pleased to partner with SHIFTMobility to offer our entire parts catalogue through their all-in-one platform," said Bill Bailey, president and CEO of Allied Auto Stores. "With ShopLite's innovative mobile application, our customers gain the ability to browse Allied's extensive inventory where they are, take advantage of special pricing exclusive to the application and receive the parts they need faster than ever before."
