Students to get hands-on technical training with parts supplied by NAPA.

June 1, 2022—NAPA Auto Parts and Universal Technical Institute cut the ribbon on a newly-minted NAPA Lab at UTI’s Mooresville, NC Campus, which houses the NASCAR Institute on May 26.

Students of the technical school will gain access to hands-on instruction and training with parts supplied by NAPA. In attendance were special guests Chase Elliott, 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion, and two-time NHRA Funny Car Champion Ron Capps

“NAPA is providing our students, staff, and alumni with greater access to quality auto parts, and we welcome their support in spreading the word about the country’s skilled labor shortage and the quality technical education UTI provides to high school graduates, career changers, veterans, and many others,” said John Dodson, UTI’s vice president of business alliance and NASCAR.
