April 19, 2013—The 2013 Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) will feature a new session, entitled “Future Leaders Speak Out.”
The new session will address the concerns of up-and-coming aftermarket professionals and will include a panel of automotive educators along with current and recent graduates.
Larry Silvey, assistant professor and chair of aftermarket management at Northwood University, will serve as moderator for the panel.
"This segment highlights the expected and not-so-expected views of current students including GAAS scholarship recipients," Silvey said in a statement. "If you’re looking to find out what these students and new grads think about some of the longstanding problems that industry veterans have struggled with for years, this is a must-see session."
GAAS 2013 will be held May 21-22 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare near Chicago. To register, visit www.globalsymposium.org.
