ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 13, 2013—Ratchet+Wrench has won the coveted Innovator Award, which was presented by the Minnesota Magazine & Publishing Association (MMPA) at the organization's Excellence Awards Gala last week in Minneapolis.
The award recognizes companies that have successfully established and executed a new concept for the magazine publishing business. It is considered among the MMPA’s most prestigious honors and is not guaranteed to be given out each year—only two publications have received the award in the past five years.
Ratchet+Wrench also won three additional MMPA Excellence Awards in cover design, feature design and for its website.
“We are very proud and humbled to be recognized by our publishing peers and to take home these prestigious awards,” said Ratchet+Wrench publisher Chris Messer. “These awards give additional credibility to our position as a leader in the industry and represent the hard work and dedication that goes into delivering the best magazine for owners and managers of independent repair facilities.”
