Parts Geek Launches Social Media Contest

Jan. 19, 2015—Parts Geek, an online auto parts retailer, announced Monday a new Facebook social media contest.

Titled, “Love Your Ride – What’s Next,” the contest will begin the week of Jan. 19, and run until Feb. 21st. The winners of the social media contest will be announced March 2.

In order to be eligible to win, Parts Geek requires all participants to “like” them on Facebook, as well as create a post on their Facebook Timeline that details what specific automotive part that they would like to purchase for their vehicle.

Other rules of the contest include participants linking to the part they want from partsgeek.com, and using Parts Geek’s contest hashtag, “#PartsGeekContest” in their Facebook posts. Participants will qualify for the contest primarily through Facebook, but may also gain additional opportunities through sharing on other social media venues or being tagged by new followers in their posts.

There will be three winners and each will receive a gift certificate to use on the Parts Geek website. The first place winner will receive a $300 gift certificate, the second place winner a $200 gift certificate, and the third place winner a $100 gift certificate.
