O'Reilly Auto Parts to Pay $79K for Endangering Employees

The Santa Fe store has entered into a settlement after violating public health orders relating to COVID-19.
Jan. 6, 2021—An O'Reilly Auto Parts store in Santa Fe, N.M., has officially agreed to a $79,200 settlement with the the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) for violating state public health orders, reports KOB4.
The store was inspected by the department last July after receiving complaints. Management was observed not requiring employees to wear masks and the store lacked signage requiring customers to wear face coverings at the time.
The department is reportedly investigating over 200 workplace safety complaints across the state.
