Dana Incorporated has upgraded its website, which should allow customers to look up parts faster.
Oct. 31, 2017—The Dana Incorporated booth at AAPEX 2017 on Tuesday drew a large gathering at mid-afternoon, as the company announced upgrades to its digital offerings.
In a press conference that also reaffirmed the company’s partnership with Victor Reinz―renowned for its gasket products―Dana officials unveiled an upgraded website meant to aid customers in parts lookup.
Saying that they hoped to serve customers better well into future, Dana officials promised to provide a better customer experience via upgrading the automotive engineering company’s digital platform, which includes Spicer and Reinz products. Dana hopes that improvement will help customers attain parts data significantly faster moving forward.
The 2017 content upgrades are part of Dana’s transformation to more of a digital enterprise, officials said. The revamped Dana website will include high-resolution, color images. Additionally, the improved website now includes around 50,000 part numbers.
Dana, a company with 19 facilities worldwide and a goal of creating better driveline products, also announced on Tuesday that it will bring back its paper “K350” catalog, which features diagrams to aid installers.
