October 12, 2018— An explosion blew the roof of Anthony Auto Body and Repair, of Westminster, CA., and destroyed the building, The Orange County Register reports.
According to The Orange County Register, fire fighters were sent to take down the blaze on Thursday, and once they arrived, crews reportedly saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the building, Orange County Fire Authority captain, Tony Bommarito, told The Orange County Register.
Tuan Chhum, owner, told The Orange County Register that the building is a total loss.
“The walls were burned black inside,” Chhum said to The Orange County Register. “The building was completely destroyed.”
No firefighters were hurt during the takedown, Bommarito told The Orange County Register, and first responders did not see any bystanders nearby.
