Survey: Consumers More Satisfied at Independent Shops

According to a survey released by Consumer Reports, consumers report a more satisfied experience after visiting independent shops than repair chains or dealerships.
Jan. 11, 2019—Consumer Reports surveyed over 40,000 of its members and found that consumers that go to independent mechanics have a more satisfying experience and are more successful at negotiating a discount than those who go to car repair chains and dealerships, reports Yahoo! News.
The survey also found that consumers haggling works more often than not when it comes to negotiating a discount, according to the report.
