Jan. 21, 2019—A man from Oak Park, Mich., is fighting to have his truck fixed after an auto repair shop worker drove it into the repair pit of a garage, Click On Detroit reports. According to the publication, Dovid Margolis, took video of the incident that happened at a Pennzoil auto shop.
"They pulled me in and didn't park me in a responsible manner," Margolis said to Click On Detroit. "They stated they'll pull it out for me."
Margolis told Click On Detroit that he began recording once the employee started to back up the truck.
According to Margolis, his foot was in danger of being crushed by the truck as soon as the worker started moving the vehicle, and Margolis began to scream, telling him to stop and ended the video so he could call 911, Click On Detroit reports. Margolis was concerned about the worker's safety, and told Click On Detroit that he knew his truck was likely damaged after it was driven into the pit.
Margolis told Click On Detroit that the manager allegedly hitched a chain to the truck and pulled it out of the pit. According to Margolis, the manager isn't paying the damage that is estimated to more than $1,000.
