November 27, 2019—The recent 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show put multiple electric vehicle models on display, namely by the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E and the 2020 Audi E-Tron Sportback.
Both of the five-seat vehicles boast rather innovative features, according to CNET.com reports, that hint at evolving industry trends.
The Mach-E features expansive range, for example (exact figures yet to be specified, but reportedly at least 210 miles). The E-Tron Sportback, meanwhile, offers 71- or 95-kilowatt hour batteries, with ranges reaching up to 277 miles, Audi said.
The E-Tron has standard all-wheel drive; the Mach-E offers rear, or all-wheel drive, plus two battery capacities and various performance specifications.
According to a cars.com report, both vehicles will qualify for a full $7,500 federal tax credit. The E-Tron Sportback goes on sale in late spring to early summer 2020, while the first Mach-E variants won't hit dealerships until late 2020.
