TIA Elects Board Secretary

July 5, 2016—The Tire Industry Association (TIA) announced Thursday that its board of directors elected John Evankovich as its new board secretary for a one-year term starting Oct. 31. 

After his one-year term as secretary, he will proceed as vice president, president, and past-president; each position being a one-year term.

"John has tremendous industry experience and a proven commitment to the association. We are fortunate to have him taking on this leadership role on our board and the entire industry will benefit from his expertise," TIA executive vice president Roy Littlefield said.

Evankovich is the director of Sam’s Club’s Tire and Battery Centers, with responsibilities encompassing more than 630 retail locations in the U.S.
