Oct. 22, 2015—On Wednesday, the Car Care Council Women’s Board named Vonda Lee, director of retail and special markets at Beck/Arnley, the recipient of its 2015 Auto Care Woman of Excellence award. Lee will receive the award at the Women’s Board press conference and reception during AAPEX on Nov. 3 at 4 p.m. at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
The Auto Care Woman of Excellence award is given out annually to honor a remarkable board member that has displayed outstanding contributions to the auto care industry, while demonstrating role model behavior, leadership and commitment to the advancement of women.
"Vonda is a great role model for women in the auto care industry," said Amy Mattinat, president, Car Care Council Women’s Board. "With her leadership, the education and development committee has increased our scholarships by 50 percent in three short years. We are very appreciative of her dedication to the Women's Board and the advancement of women within the auto care industry, and are thrilled to be able to honor her with this award."
