Nov. 7, 2013—Verify Brand, LLC, a software brand protection company, recently announced enhancements to Verify Platform, a cloud-based platform that recognizes and eliminates counterfeit parts in automotive supply chains.
Verify said the platform ensures greater use of genuine parts for both auto manufacturing and service and repairs.
“Automotive parts counterfeiting is a multi-billion-dollar business that affects manufacturers, suppliers and vehicle owners globally,” said Mark Prokosch, vice president of Verify Brand. “The Verify Platform can secure the automotive supply chain, from a dispersed supplier base to an automotive manufacturer’s production operations and all the way down to the service and repair shops.”
Verify said the platform allows users to identify and quarantine suspect parts, while tracking genuine parts.
