Ford Issues Two More Recalls for Incorrect Repairs on Maverick Trucks

March 7, 2025
Repairs done for two separate, earlier recalls had repairs done incorrectly.

Two separate recalls related to the Ford Maverick have been issued again due to initial repairs not being done correctly, according to Road and Track.

The largest recall covers 933 units of model year 2022 and 2023 Maverick Hybrids, due to the instrument cluster potentially not illuminating warning lights or gauges properly.

This problem has already been recalled by Ford—but the company said it’s recalling it again due to incorrect repairs being done.

The second recall applies to 141 model year 2022 Maverick trucks, which were previously serviced under recall number 24V-730.

As a result of inadequate recall repairs, these trucks’ ABS system may illuminate the brake light without the driver engaging the brake. To fix this issue, dealers will implement an update to the ABS module.
