TEXA has released a new diagnostic system called IDC6, with AI capabilities and a redesigned user interface, according to a press release.
The TEXA IDC6 introduces the AI Diagnostic Assistant, equipped with an engine providing filtered data, validated vehicle records, and code specific technical service bulletins to help technicians identify the correct repair procedure.
Within IDC6’s diagnostic assistance, there are two steps that utilize AI. The first is the AI Smart Diagnosis, which guides techs through the diagnostic process while carrying out a TGS3 control unit scan for automatic vehicle selection, a VIN scan confirmation, and then optimizing malfunction identification. It then suggests methods for repair or service options.
The second is the AI Global Search function, which provides an advanced examination and single screen confirmation of the vehicle system and status.
Additionally, IDC6 brings with it customizable navigation, and simplified navigation menus that adapt to user habits. Tooltip pop-up messages suggesting ideal actions has also been incorporated, as well as highlighting frequently used vehicle selections and diagnosis or service options.
All registered TEXA tool users with current TEXPACK coverage will be able to download the newest IDC6 for free, according to a TEXA USA representative.
