Sonic Tools USA Donating Tools to Students Through Scholarship Program
Sonic Tools USA is launching a scholarship program to provide aspiring technicians with the tools they need to succeed in their field, according to a press release.
The Sonic Impact Scholarship Program is open to automotive, aviation, and manufacturing technicians, and will award a total of 10 scholarships to students. Students will be awarded a set of tools suited for their trade, along with a toolbox. Five scholarships will be awarded in June 2025, with the final half being awarded in November 2025.
Criteria for the scholarships includes proof of enrollment in an automotive trade school (this could include a class schedule or student ID); a letter of recommendation from an instructor; and a 60-90 second video on how Sonic will impact one’s career.
Applicants must also provide a 500-word essay on how they exemplify P.A.C.E. values—Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Experience—in addition to how they will make an impact.
“With the launch of our Sonic Impact Scholarship, we will support the blossoming technicians who live by these values and invest in their futures by allowing these ten students to focus on their education and career rather than the debt of buying a new toolset,” said Sonic USA CEO Colby McConnell.
