Second Chances Garage Names Tonya Hatosy-Stier as Executive Director

Second Chances Garage’s board of directors has named Tonya Hatosy-Stier as its newest executive director, according to a press release.

Having over 25 years of experience in nonprofit management, program development, and community engagement, Hatosy-Stier has previously served as the executive director of Woman To Woman Mentoring and the director of marketing and development for Heritage Frederick.

Prior to her nonprofit work, Hatosy-Stier filled a number of roles in the financial services industry for 15 years.

As Second Chances Garage’s executive director, Hatosy-Stier plans to emphasize the organization’s mission to provide affordable transportation solutions for those in need.

“I am honored to join Second Chances Garage and excited to build on its incredible work in Frederick County,” said Hatosy-Stier. “Transportation is a critical component of independence and opportunity, and I look forward to working with the Second Changes team, our board and the community to provide more families with the ‘second chances’ they deserve.”
